Davide Ghiotto becomes honorary citizen of Baselga di Piné
On June 2, 2022, the municipal council of Baselga di Piné unanimously awarded Davide Ghiotto the appointment of honorary citizen, for his commitment, dedication and sporting achievements.
Davide’s successes are indeed a source of pride for the town, which was the background for the champion’s first steps on ice.
The mayor of the municipality Alessandro Santuari, during a ceremony held in the Town Hall and which was also attended by the short track siblings Pietro and Arianna Sighel, awarded the recognition to the Olympic athlete, who received it together with his colleague Francesca Lollobrigida.
